About CharKrishi Qurbani Cattle
“From the Jamuna chars to the Dhakai market — CharKrishi brings authenticity closer to you.”
Our Story
When the first light of dawn spreads across the village fields, farmers in Sirajganj lead their cattle to the expansive Jamuna chars. Here, the animals graze freely on the lush, vitamin-rich natural grass, drinking pure river water. This is not industrial farming; this is a heritage.
“No artificial feed, no fattening chemicals — only the open air of the Jamuna char, fresh grass, and the love of a farming family.”
In Bangladesh, the chars of the Jamuna River in Sirajganj are especially renowned for producing high-quality cattle. The sediment-rich soil of the chars grows grass that is naturally nutritious, resulting in livestock that are healthier, leaner, and stronger than grain-fed or factory-farmed alternatives. For generations, these cattle have been the gold standard for Qurbani.
But for city buyers, finding genuine Jamuna char cattle is not easy. Markets are often filled with intermediaries, and the origin of the animal becomes blurred behind tall tales and artificial price hikes. Urban residents want the purity of the village but are forced to settle for the uncertainty of the city haat.
CharKrishi works as a bridge between these two sides. We partner directly with the traditional farmers of Sirajganj, ensuring they get a fair price for their labor and that our customers in the city receive an animal that has lived a truly natural life. By bringing these select cattle to the Dhakai market, we remove the guesswork and restore the sanctity of your sacrifice.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to connect the authentic cattle of the Jamuna chars in Sirajganj with buyers through the Dhakai market, while ensuring a trustworthy and transparent experience for every customer.
